YES! you totally make sense :) and yes it's something i'm trying hard to grow into...being honest is incredibly challenging.

But maybe it's not so much about me trying but me just yielding to God to work in making me the person he created me to be--authentically speaking.

and no, that not random >< at least not like your Orchard Rd xenophobe quip! hehehe

I love the part that we gotta be real when we come to God. In fact, we have to because He is all-knowing, and it is really pointless to try to hide from Him. However, to be honest, it takes practice to be honest with God, because we have been so used to live in the demand of others and of ourselves that even we ourselves do not see the real self as clear.

And as we are true to Him and to ourselves, and willing to be challenged and changed by our loving Father, we grow in the essence that is in us, the essence that He created us to be. And that is the authenticity that we can offer the world - uniquely for His glory, not as our own striving.

Am I making sense? (Even I have to read twice to get what I mean. Was it because my bad English or was it because the profound thoughts that the Holy Spirit inspires? Oops...)

(Pardon me and my random comments.)
